Jatoba - Brazilian Cherry Hardwood Flooring
A popular option in imported exotic flooring is Jatoba, a hardwood
species known more commonly as Brazilian Cherry. Imported
from Brazil, this South American wood encompasses a range of light
and dark reddish brown shades that vary in color and streak. Each plank
of our clear grade, prefinished Brazilian Cherry flooring possesses
a unique hue, and as a floor is laid these individual planks combine
their natural variations to create a striking flooring effect. After
installation, the tan and salmon tones initially exhibited in Brazilian
Cherry flooring will deepen, settling into rich shades of reddish brown
highlighted by darker brown to black streaks and bands. Brazilian Cherry
is 228% harder than domestic red oak, making it a strong, durable wood
and a reliable choice in flooring. Available unfinished or pre-finished.
